“Climate Crisis and its Impact on the Adivasis and Other Forest Dependent Communities”

As the climate crisis deepens both at home and around the world, the need for civil society intervention in government decision-making processes has never been more critical. Strengthening popular initiatives to collectively address this crisis is equally essential.

With this objective in mind, we are pleased to invite you to a workshop on ‘Climate Crisis and its Impact on the Adivasis and Other Forest Dependent Communities’. This workshop will provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss and develop strategies to mitigate the impacts of the climate crisis on these vulnerable communities.

Objectives:

  1. To foster civil society engagement in governmental climate policies.
  2. To enhance community-led initiatives for climate resilience.
  3. To share knowledge and experiences on the impact of climate change on forest-dependent communities.
